Well done Celtics - best team and deserved it

Boston Beer party!

Mavs had a great season - Exum showed a bit when he was out there - they just need a forward who can score easy buckets to stop the reliance on Kyrie and Luka taking 45-50 shots a night

ECF MVP and FMVP on top of just being rock solid all regular season, Browns reputation has gone through the roof this year.

When he signed that contract plenty were already talking about where he would be traded to down the track. Already earned every cent of that contract extension.

Chip? 😝

Do you really still think Boston will win the whole thing?

Fair that all the eyes are on Tatum and brown, but im a massive fan of stretch bigs that can rim protect and I think adding porkzingers has been a smart call and it’s something this team has that many others don’t.

I also don’t understand why there isn’t a huge premium on rim protecting scorers with range. There’s so few of them plus I think they fit with existing superstars better than others.

Ie, if you could add sga or pork to this Boston team, sure sga is the better scorer, prob better player but addition isn’t always 100 plus 100 gets 200 when it comes to basketball and adding talents.

This is a very niche example though, the Celtics don't have any other starter level bigs outside of a 38 year old Horford if you remove KP. So of course it would make them most likely worse.

I also think there is quite a premium on rim protecting bigs with range, not sure many are around that are being undervalued. You could maybe make a case for Turner otuside of that not many are left. Lopez was huge for the Bucks when healthy but age seems to finally be catching up with him.

That's why we were also heavily linked with Myles turner at the time.
