No beef, I've just watched a lot of Hawks games this season and whilst he's had some good games (the Cleveland game he was awesome) he's also had some absolute stinkers. Today and two days ago he has been absolutely terrible. His +/- today was -22 and 2 days ago it was -11 in a 7 point loss against the best team in the league.

If Lin keeps playing better than him he deserves to be benched. He shouldn't be saying he will be better than Doncic then come out and play like absolute ass.

And no, not in my fantasy team

The main concern with Young coming in was
- will he be able to create any separation
- Will he be able to get to the basket + finish
- Will he be able to see over the top of big guys guarding him on pick and roll switches to make the right pass

I would say he has pretty emphatically answered all of the above for me.

He is always going to be a bit streaky with his shooting and at the moment the defence is just sitting on him because Atlanta don't have anyone else to make a shot.
He will be turnover prone on this shit team where he literally has to make every play.

Don't think he will ever be a top 10 player in the league because he is always going to be hopeless on defence due to his size but you guys are fools if you think he is not going to be an excellent offensive player long term.

Yep. With how the game is played and the rules, there is no way he will ever not be at least an above average player on offense.
