Not really, most clubs prepare pretty well these days - not many come out and say at the end of the season that they were not fit enough.

Well like that article says that is partly due to the new interchange cap. I think the fitness of most of our guys was alright last year but whatever we did with some of the senior guys like Jacobs, Reilly and Thommo didn't work (Thommo injured for at least some of the year too).
