Damn you Chad!

Lots of people with Gablett and Bartel would be unhappy too I'm guessing.

The angry bit is the other options I had - Cross (131), Pav (124), Didak (122), Salopek (110), Murphy (108), Stevens (100), or even Burton (99). How could I get it so wrong??? I even have Mitchell and JB to come!!

People should be happy with anything over 85.

I had Bartel this week (the 85 above has nothing to do with it). I was expecting a little more, but I brought him in as a permanent captain. Stick with the one gun all year and you're looking at a 100 average, maybe even more. Start changing every week and you risk consistently picking players who might score 10-15 points under their average.

If you stick with the same captain, things balance out anyway. One huge week more than makes up for a couple weeks of 80s.

Unless you want a league win, captains are just like any other player in that consistency means nothing.

I'll take 60 one week and 150 the next over 100 every week anyday.

i am not dissapointed with hayes getting 101, but i had cross for the first 5 weeks and the week i change he dominates, i guess it goes to show if u stick with a proven gun all year you will probably be better off than changing each week

But I ended up sticking with my gut and making him captain regardless

I dont believe in this theory. I think your captain can do much better for you. Last year my captain averaged about 120 all up, and I only had Bartel for the 3 of the 22 rounds.
