Colin Farrell reprises his role from The Batman then takes it to a new level. You would not know it was him under the make-up but he still manages to convey the nuances of this character. He really makes the most of the script - talking his way out of trouble, taking on a young protege, his relationship with his mother. Cristin Milioti is also excellent as a psychotic gang family daughter.

Episode 1 has expertly set the scene and introduced a number of interesting characters. Hopefully it can continue at this high standard.

Colin Farrell better win the Emmy for this role. He is killing it so far. Especially since he missed out on the Oscar for Banshees. He is one of the best actors working now.

I think Victor is going to end up being Zsasz and just got his first mark.

Also the dialogue in this show is so good. Loved when he said to him you have all this opportunity but all you can feel is this and puts the gun to his head.

Really enjoying it so far, no mention of the “ Batman” yet.

Until the end of the third ep I was going to make a call that vic could be robin in the next movie. The final scene of the series being after leaving penguin, vic is caught by Batman trying to steal the wheel off of the Batmobile in a Jason Todd type set up

Best show I’ve seen this year. Episode 3 was brilliant. The fact that the show was able to take Vic and make you know, deep down, that it’s not in his best interest to join this life of crime, yet at the same time, you want him to reunite with Oz. A show that can play with your emotions like that is doing a good job. You know what the kid is doing is wring, but you’re hoping he and Oz succeed.

Fascinating to see where this show goes with the Arkham Asylum stuff and also good to see Theo Rossi in it..

This show so far seems a lot more Son's of Anarchy/Sopranos than any traditional Batman lore series and that's no bad thing (although the underrated Gotham series did try introduce more of the seedy underworld element to the DC/Bats universe, at least to casual fans like myself who have only had a fleeting knowledge of Batman mythology)

I'll disagree and saw whilst I am enjoying the episodes I wish it didn't shy away from the Batman/comic book lore and did the opposite. Same thing with Joker/Kings of Comedy. Needs more Batman universe elements such as if they're bringing Arkham Asylum would have been nice to see some familiar characters and again not a knock off Harley Quinn random
