The sooner that winter comes the better, I have never liked summer weather. Give me overcast days, give me rain, thunderstorms, lightning, give me hoodie weather.

Yep I do long for the rain during summer.

Mind you I always look forward to summer towards the end of winter too. I enjoy the variety.

I grew up in the Kimberley and even after living down south for 25 years now, the variety in seasons still feels like a novelty to me - to the extent that I designed my front yard around an ornamental pear as the feature tree since it has a distinctly different look for all four seasons. Love how it reflects the variety of the seasons.

Perth near the coast and down in Mandurah has perfect weather.

I live near the coast and it's still been too hot here this week but it's usually a couple of degrees cooler than the Eastern suburbs.

It's still over 27 degrees in Perth and it's close to 9pm, that's bad for Summer let alone late March, can't wait for winter to arrive.
