Cool mate. See ya.

Guys! Let's be real you both know more than most on here (well at least more than me!) and I enjoy reading the different perspectives on things. It's been an exciting season so let's all say our prayers to the Hinkie/Simmons/Embiid God that is out there :D

Ive seen three of the games since Joel has been out. Hard to argue that we are coping really well without him, which is terrific seeing for much of the year we have struggled when he was out injured or the minutes when he was not on the floor. Ilaysova playing great and better defence than I thought he played. Holmes and Johnson have benefited from increased playing time and I like the idea of mixing up match-ups by playing Ben with four shooters on the floor at one time when Embid rests in the playoffs at times. Has worked well recently. Latest reports have Embid returning for game one of week 1 of the playoffs. Happy days.

Edit: Embid's latest press release says he has not given up playing game 1, but is unlikley at the moment. Playing the way they are right now shouldnt be a problem to rest him a bit longer. Over 50 game period we have the highest point differential of any team in the league and the best defence with the second best offence. Marco Belinelli averaging nearly 19 points per game over last five games. Ilaysova around 15points and 9.5rebounds over the same period despite a very quiet game today in a blowout. Amazing late additions considering Belinelli has eased the burden on Redick and Covington while taking all of the minutes Bayless was playing early in the year. Ilaysova was basically acquired by waiving Booker. Great move. The addition of Fultz also has helped immensely. While his numbers don't seem amazing. He is a significantly better playmaker than the player he has taken minutes from in the rotation in McConnell. The extra bonus is that he is a strong 6-4 which means Philly no longer has to pair two short guards on the court for extended periods of time like they did when two of Redick, McConnell and Bayless where on the court together early in the year.

In other news there has been talk in the US media that Kawhi Leonard is a decent chance to end up in Philly. With one perspective trade put forward of Fultz, Saric and Lakers 2018 first rounder that we own (probably will end up around pick 10) provided it is not in the 2-5 range. Interesting suggestion. It would make us an absolute beats on defence. But would come with significant risks as well.

Anyone watching, are the bucks trying? If Miami & Washington win, will either of them overtake Bucks for 6th spot.

Was listening to first quarter - just sounded like we were dominant on shooting.
Then from there, we kept the pressure up and were ruthless with turnovers, and continued to shoot strongly.
Second half has fizzled mainly which has been fine.

Playing brilliantly without Redick, Embiid, and a (relatively) subdued Simmons.

Either of those sides could over take Bucks - my preference is to avoid Wizards, with Wall back and their playoff experience. Heat or Bucks I don't mind.

Heat going to overtime.
Orlando holding Wizards at bay.

If I have this right Heat win they finish 6th, if they lose Bucks finish 6th

Fultz got his first triple double right at the death and was mobbed by his teammates... great scenes. Fans going wild and chanting TRUST THE PROCESS :D

Special night all round. No one over 28 mins again, with Redick rested. Heaps of points by the bench guys. Fultz. 16 straight. Wow!

Wizards lose so end 8th.
Heat about to win and clinch 6th and play Sixers.

Long suffering 76ers fan and confused!
This was supposed to be a ‘process’ where we just miss the playoffs this year, hopefully make them next year and so on. But 52 wins and 3rd! Get out of here. Still pinching myself.

I was pretty bullish and thought they'd be around the 45 win mark but that was before Fultz had his whole thing go on. It's pretty crazy that they've even out performed super biased Sixer fan takes.

Regardless of whether they get bounced out in the first round or make the Finals, absolutely nothing should take away from what a season it was BUT more pertinently that they are 100% on the right track.

A lot of these teams in the playoffs are tapped out in terms of transcendent talent and/or cap space to do something significant. Sixers have both because of how Hinkie set them up. The quotes in here foreshadowed where we are right now, to an extent. Happened a little differently than how he would have went about it, but the overarching sentiments of 'once you have those guys' you can then build out your roster, stands.
