Teams look half asleep to start the season

Overs have been tough to get ahold of

You’d think being half asleep also means a drop off at the other end

It’s hard to peg. Free throw numbers are down with the new rule obviously but pace and FGA are up. Likely there’s a correlation there which should nullify the effect on totals but those numbers also point at teams running less iso plays (probably due to no more Harden type cheap shooting fouls). Maybe it’s an adjustment period on offense just for that. Has to be something along those lines as all these games with teams not cracking 100 is far from normal

My guess by watching some of the games is theyve stopped calling cheap frees which used to stop the game and boost scoring for both sides.

Also all the covid testing and protocols etc probably tires out the players as well.

Id only take overs for games where a non defensive power forward is named like Hornets/Celtics playing Bridges/Tatum in those roles. Also when two offensive teams play but are both well rested.

Every thing else just take unders I reckon since unders is hitting like crazy.
