I think the guy who had 500k on the Saints to win the big dance would have slept a bit easier last night. They either face Carlton, Sydney or the Dogs who are probably 3 of the 4 worst teams in the finals this year.

Almost assured of a GF spot now and I am really beginning to think they are hitting their straps at the right time ala Hawthorn in 2008..

Sportsbet look like they could be paying out 3 million come GF day which would be a disaster for them.

It was later revealed that the saints were in heavy loading that week, in particular, and were very sluggish and sore prior to the game.

Interested to know what knowledge this guy has....

The guy waited for weeks and weeks for the Saints to lose a game before pulling the trigger. It was nothing to do with being in the know just to do with waiting for the right odds to present.
