Some big horse races coming up, leading to the Sydney Easter carnival.

NBA has some fairly easy picks on the run home to their post season.

MLB with their 2 pre season comps, my bias being the Brewers in the Cactus League (Arizona).

Lastly, the AFL practice matches have some ok odds, certainly some money to be gained.

i had a thought of doing it, but with the potential for experimentation, or super cautious reaction to a slight niggle, and all that it seems itd be a bit hard to predict.

I did put 2 or 3 bets on the tennis over the summer and broke even. There’s the tackling betting now on Sportsbet what constitutes a tackle though . What if two players tackle at once what if a tackle is held for a couple of seconds then broken or the player disposes of it is that still a tackle ? Always wondered what they actually count.

I use Sportsbet. Got a Betr account when they opened and gave 100/1 odds for major events. Got $100/1 on Collingwood and Argentina in the World Cup. Lost out on the NBA and NRL. Closed that account after the major events finished.

90% footy. 9% horses. 1% Dapto dogs.

I don't do too much of it - usually only when I'm convinced we're massive unders. I don't watch enough of anyone else to be confident otherwise. That said, the only time to get great value on the futures (top 8, premiership etc) is right before you start your rise to the top. No point otherwise. I see people betting on fav teams to win the premiership at the start of the season and it makes no sense to me, you can get similar odds of $5-6 for these teams at the end of the H&A when they've actually made the finals. Why lock away money for half the year for such low gains...
