My border collie used to take one of my thongs out into the middle of the back lawn all the time. Only mine and the same one each time. Didn't chew it or anything. I'm pretty sure he was just taking the piss in the end

Anyone had personal experience or know someone who has given birth to a donated embryo. Curious to know at what age the parents let the child know they are not actually blood related and how the child, teen, adult reacted to the news.

What would you consider short term? Less than a year?
Just to add to my answer, I'm seeing a lot more 3 - 6 stints on resumes. I think recruiter and hiring manager attitudes have changed a lot since covid. A lot of people are explaining the short stints as things like, the induction wasn't as expected, the role wasn't as busy as had been anticipated, the business was not as well resources as anticipated etc.

I do a lot of hiring and a couple of short roles here and there don't bother me. The other option is to leave it off your resume completely and only explain if asked.

"How do you explain this 7 year gap on your resume?"

<thinks fast - whatever casual work I could get + a stint on the dole + mental health won't cut it>

"I'm sorry, I had to sign a very watertight NDA as part of my clearance and I'm also broadly restricted by Part 5.6 – Secrecy of Information of the Criminal Code Act (1995)."

Ok how do I stop a dog from stealing our shoes etc? It’s 1am and my dog has been going coco bananas running around so I got up and he had a pair of my shoes, three of the kids toys and all kinds of crap. Can you crate train a 6 month old puppy?

Surprised he wasn’t crate trained when you got him but yes you can crate train him now.

It’s great because it’s he’s “safe” space and will give you piece of mind at night or when you are out

A recruiter whose videos come across on my Tiktok says there is no need to add a cover letter to a resume anymore.

Do you agree?
Yeah in my experience not many people do them anymore. I don't look for them. If someone has taken the effort to write one I'll read it though, so for ****s sake personalise and proof read it.
