The Gold Coast obviously has many tourist attractions, but have you or anyone you know either as a tourist from Australia or New Zealand or a local from Southern Queensland ever been to the Outback Spectacular show?
It's located in Oxenford between the Wet & Wild and Movie World Theme Parks, with Paradise Country behind it and adjacent to the golf center and commenced in 2007 so 18 years now, so obviously it is profitable to some degree. Yet I have visited Queensland many times and never been to the Outback Spectacular, and everyone I have spoken to either who have gone on a holiday to the Gold Coast or locals on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane have never been either, although they have been to all the other SQ tourist attractions I have visited. Even a work colleague who along with her husband keeps horses and who like Queensland did not visit the Outback Spectacular.
Perhaps I just by chance have never met anyone who has been to see the show? Or maybe the Outback Spectacular appeals and is marketed more to tourists from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas rather than local Queenslanders or local tourists from within Australia or New Zealand?

Nah never been to Outback Spectacular. When on the Gold coast have done Dreamworld, Movie world, Wet n Wild and that's about it re. The big attractions/theme parks.
Otherwise done jet skiing, speed boat, Currumbin Sanctuary, and just general stuff like shopping, pool and the hotel gym.

Dont know any locals who have been either. Id say it certainly is attended mostly by overseas tour groups etc.
But i could be wrong.
If i got a free or discounted ticket id go just to check it out.
