We must share similar minds. I was gonna make this thread several times but decided against it!

I guess a scum supporter can sometimes get flashes of brilliance.

The Girlfriend and I had a fight this morning before she headed off to work. I'm not feeling great about it and she's likely feeling like crap at work. Do I call her when she's on break to sort it out sooner or wait till I see her later on tonight?

Definitely.......txt a dick pic.

Otherwise, if you ain't got the balls.....txt her you're sorry and she's right....even if you don't think so. This just calms everything down during the long day till you can see each other later to talk about it. The worst for you both is that length of time stewing wanting to talk but having to work. But txt don't call. And don't add anything to the argument. Just a sorry you're right.

So do we answer the questions or just ask them?

You just be patient and ask them son.

Answering them son is privilege you need to earn. It is a long road you must travel, cross many rivers, round many bends before that. Weather storms and droughts, fads and trends before son you can stand as an equal amongst the wise and share that wisdom to these pilgrams son.

I'll start it off, what is enlightenment?

I'll give a less pretentious answer. I'd say it's similar to gaining new knowledge and/or developing yourself further as a person.

In a historic/philosophical sense, it usually indicates a period of time in the latter stages of the 17th and earlier stages of the 18th century that emphasised a break-away from tradition and a greater development of scientific theories, as well as philosophies based around individualism, and skepticism of established norms. Sorta. Basically.

That is far more pretentious

I love you GG. Even though I don't believe extra-terrestials have visited us, I truly wish it were true for some reason…always been fascinated by the idea. I feel I'd be a lot happier as a believer like yourself, then I can spend hours on youtube looking at supposed 'UFO' videos without feeling like it's a waste of time. Do you have anything that you think might convince me? Genuinely intrigued.

I believe there's a good chance there are aliens (look at the enormity of the universe, how many galaxies housing potential earth-like planets).

UFO's (strict definition) i believe....there's a ton of evidence supporting it.

If there is a high chance of aliens, and a strong chance of UFO's, then the twain (the ufos belonging to aliens who are/have visited us) is a good chance. Tho personally I remain on the fence.....as literal inter-galactic travel would be a bitch.

Tonight so you won't be rushed and can say your piece comfortably and in person
Why have I not joined the worlds biggest online sports betting company?
If they are the biggest, doesn't that mean they take the most money from Joe Blow average punters?

Is there a video of this occurring?
I saw John Bracewell chase a ball down to the long straight boundary (RIP) at the AO and he kicked it into the fence when he saw the batsmen turning for their fifth.

No. Tho perhaps someone has filmed it happening in amateur/kids league but hasn't uploaded it for the world to see.

In the meantime, consider.....

In a match against England, Australia got 7 runs in one ball when a fielder stopped the ball from the boundary (the batsmen ran 3) and then threw the ball and the wicketkeeper missed and the ball reached the boundary so Australia got 7 from one ball.

C.B.Fry scored 66 runs off one ball. The ball lodged in a tree inside the boundary, the umpire ruled "that as the ball was visible it could not be deemed lost" the fielding side went for a ladder, hence the 66 runs.

Victorian Bushrangers playing a game versus a Bunbury team, during a Western Australian tour (when I don't know, it wasn't written), scored 286 run in one ball.

The ball landed between the branches of a tree and wasn't acessible but the umpire refused to announce "lost ball" because the ball was eye-sighted. The players needed a shotgun to knock it over the grass.

Shahid Afridi scored 12 from one ball, his six hit the roof and was given as a "12". Dunno why.
