The rule change I would LOVE to see

Ffs, I'm tired of everyone who thinks that a player kicks a goal has to come off, there's literally 1000 times a player will kick a goal and stay on, they go off because it is their turn in the rotation and the break in play from a goal being kicked is as good a chance as any to come off

Incorrect pal. It is very rare that a player kicks a goal and stays on the ground, my research indicates about 10 in every 1000 stay on the ground after a goal. It is not part of the 'normal rotation' but a clear rule that the player who kicks a goal must run to the bench asap

Support the OP in principle. Not sure it can be enforced with rules, but considering it's a spectator sport, it's ridiculous when a player on a hot streak goes to the bench because the sports scientist's calculus says so.

I believe the theory behind it is that when a player kicks a goal, he gets a bit of an adrenaline rush. This adrenaline rush can affect the players concentration for a couple of minutes and cause him to possibly make mistakes if he gets a possession in those couple of minutes. The best way to avoid this is to go and sit out on the bench for a couple of minutes.

I dont know if anyone has mentioned it but there should be a free kick given against the player who drags the football back under he's opponent after he's opponent has clearly gotten rid of the football. Sick of seeing a player given a free kick when he's the one clearly holding the football under he's opponent

has long been the case, in the current climate of being hard and fast with the rules that: football fan sees something repeatedly on the field - considers whether there could be a rule against it. whether or not what is happening is against the spirit of the game isn't the issue. they feel that tactically, football should be some random, chaotic spectacle.

Completely ridiculous, it smacks of some sports scientist needing to make something up to justify his huge salary. Then the other 17 teams just copied it from whoever did it first so they don't look like they are backwards and getting left behind
