It has been a rather meteoric rise for the poster who this season and once again claims third place in the Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy. One would be rather hard pressed to locate a poster who has enjoyed such popularity from the very get-go. After just three seasons, PMBangers has cemented their spot as one of the leagues best. PMBangers has great vision - philreich, I am sure you can assist us with a Dad joke about glasses or something - and creativity in his efforts around the Sweet F.A. 11 threads came out of Bangers this season, which were all of the following: dull, great, boring, fun, exciting, thought-provoking.
There was even that one thread where PMBangers announces his intention togive Mooch his All-SFA Selectionrun as a candidate to see who will become the next leader of the local Sunday night Bingo tournament. Or something. If his peers like him as much as they have voted for him in this seasons award, he may well be in with a shot.
My favourite moment was when PMBangers saw the wounded Phoenix plummeting down to the ground and then decided to defect to a much brighter venture. Oops. As I said, a great vision.
Well done on your well-deserved third place finish, PMBangers.

In second place for the second consecutive season is the Dragons FFC Captain, serial_thrilla. The ever creative and loveable poster in Season 32 saw a massive boost in votes received, going from 1,351 in Season 31 to a massive 1,577 (+226) this season off the back of some impressive posting around the Sweet F.A. Our friend, s_t has never placed outside of the top 8 in the 4 seasons he has received votes. With a third place, and two second place finishes, one could imagine that the trophy itself is sure to come soon... or just a complete drop off in posting, but I dare say the former is the more likely.
serial_thrilla once again ran the Extended Statistics thread for the league to get their numbers fix, told the story of the entertaining battle we saw for the thread medal and returned with some of his previous hits to the media landscape, with threads such as the list assessments and gatecrashers thread. When I was tasked with presenting the award to the recipient for the Sweet F.A Players Association - beez trophy I pondered what I could do differently, for I have been doing these write-ups for as long as I can remember. They can become a bit bland and repetitive, unlike the content output by the winner this season. So I thought I would hand the task over to an AI. I presented the AI with a list of the winners thread titles, some general tags about the league and prompted it with:

The following was rather lengthy, so I have decided to cut some out and present to you why the AI believes Elton Johns Wig is the recipient of this seasons award.
"He creates brilliant satire and humour and that’s what we’re after here at BigFooty, and of course, what we find at his blogs at Wiggyweird[dot com - not an actual website!]" - AI
I am not entirely sure we can find his 'blogs' located at this location, but in the event Elton Johns Wig gets a bit bored over the off-season he might enter the world of blogging as the Sweet F.A's biggest influencer and can start promoting some of Tigerturbulance's products.

This floored me from the AI. After further thought trying to make out what this was about, I figured it had something to with WaynesWorld19 but I must have missed this this season. Anyone?

The Fishies give him a lift home? Who the hell are the Fishies? Is this one of the new expansion bids that are sure to rear their ugly head in the coming months? Boy, this is all a lot to take in. The AI continued to go on about the Fishies further on too.

I would like to extend a sincere congratulations to the winner of the Season 32 Sweet F.A Players Association - beez Trophy, Elton Johns Wig who has, by demonstration of his placing in this seasons award, indeed made the league more lively with a host of media threads and contributions around the board through this season.
Placing 88th in Season 30, then improving to 24th in Season 31, Elton Johns Wig has continued his rise in the posting stakes. Wig kicked off his media contributions this season with a thread that proved to be perhaps his biggest hit of the season, The Whine Room, with previous winner of this award, managatang. I personally have massive respect for Wig. I've never really got why anyone would not - he has put in a huge amount of work this season, he has clearly clicked with his peers this season.
WIG Media was a consistently consistent quality contributor to the league this season, bringing us the joys of many media threads that exceeded the quality of most of what everyone else decided to click post thread on. A great ability to capitalise on the mood, jokes and current ongoings of the league, Elton Johns Wig has had a great season and is a much worth person to be etched in the history books of the Sweet F.A.
