He's done a complete u turn on the issue.
Disappointing Cam Mooney doesn't continue his spot on Harf's show. Disappointing The Storm hour doesn't get a run on Finey's show now. They've replaced it with a soccer show. A soccer show isn't a bad idea, but Zappone and the other guy they've got on, Dave Davutovic, are ****house on radio, particularly Zappone.

Cam Mooney is a great loss . As I've said before the only decent soccer commentator is Andy Harper, Zappers and that other goose in Carlos are hopeless

He has a regular spot with Harf now, I think it's on Mondays. Otherwise I have only heard him calling soccer and also the baseball on Friday and Saturday nights.
Just want to go against the grain here and say that I was a guest for an hour with Finey last night (talking with him and Scott Goodings about old Melbourne cinemas) and, being familiar with this thread I was expecting the worst.
However the Mark Fine I met was a ripping bloke. Personable, kind and inviting (oh and funny, especially off air). I could not have asked for a better host.

Enjoyed listening to that last night , so many of the cinemas and drive ins form our younger days are long gone
I think all of Fineys shows are great and enjoy listening to all the experiences and talk of the various guests

Tbh, I don't even think AH is that good. There's a rhetoric amongst the leading soccer personalities, and hardened soccer community, that MUST be destroyed before soccer progresses (in a mainstream sense). This chip on the shoulder "football is good Australia/ns is good a football" poo. We're horrendously mediocre and there's a staunch denial. Harper follows this trend. e.g. defending Aloisi's cred as a coach, and blaming players, when it was clear he was tremendously **** coach. JvS proved it.

Ha. That's obviously a reference to Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen. Perhaps they're ironic nicknames, coz Sheahan and Carro couldn't be more different to Sid and Nancy
I think davutovic speaks well on radio. Not sure what your problem is with him?
