the Sunday papers said that the Morning Glory have got rid of the joke of the day just before 7am when John Burgess use to tell a joke to Andy Tim and Billy.
Said that Sen decided not to have him on anymore

It's interesting how Burgo got the flick for supposedly not being funny - even though the gags came across as being deliberately corny.

However, Tim Watson doing a Chinese accent - well that has the Morning Glory team rolling on the floor with laughter.

Its funny because its one of the "boys" doing it, if an outsider did that it would be mildly funny at best.

He was just waffling on about how the Grand Prix is only on pay TV overseas (which is wrong), and how it doesn't do anything for our tourism industry to promote Melbourne. And a bunch of other assorted waffling where he was obviously out of his depth.

I've been on holidays for the last month and haven't listened to SEN much lately (the one bit I heard was an interview Doran did with James Tomkins where he spent half the time asking him about Sally Robbins for some reason). Anyone want to join a posse I want to put together to get this bloke off the air? Annoys the piss out of me.

Switched him on for about 30 minutes and he mentioned St Kilda 3 times, he is a tool and his position needs looking at. Maybe he has photos...?

Maybe Mark Johnston asked Baby John to include more **** and bum and dicks in his jokes to fit the tone Johnston has tried to create for the Morning Glory.
But Baby John wouldnt stoop that low.

Morning Glory seems like the most obvious show to overhaul. Its on at the most important time and it just doesn't work. They need a big shakeup of that show to get the station rating big numbers. Look at every other station, everything is programmed around breakfast cause it can make or break the station. When's the last time you saw on ad for a radio show that wasn;t breakfast?
