Our club and the posters who represent it are far bigger than the actual games. It is what sets us apart from the opposition.

Yes.

Why force inactive players to remain on a list purely to make up numbers? That kind of defeats the purpose of the league which is engagement and leaves too much work to too few, causing burnout for the stalwarts.

Bringing in new blood every year should be the aim of all clubs, otherwise you can simply cut and paste the match threads and save everyone a heap of time in their lives, as the conversations will be about the same topics between the same posters.

If the noises about expansion teams are serious, having extra engaged posters at all clubs is the only way to help make it a reality. It ain’t going to happen if you take one or two active posters out of each club, it simply magnifies the problems of lack of engagement. If you took 3 active posters from the Bombers, there are still plenty willing to engage.

Who said it was garbage?

It is a random simulated game of pretend footy. Without it, I would not have met such a brilliant diverse group of campaigners as my team mates and enjoyed interacting with opposition players too.

The qooty is important because it brings people together, living and dying by its random results is disturbing.
