I don't like it, but not as bad as I was expecting.

I absolutely hate the black patch around it on the guernsey though. I know what they're going for, but it just looks stupid.
I don't mind it but it looks like a cheap sticker on the jumper.

Dunno what was wrong with the oversized patch from the 150 jumper TBH.

With the rules and regulations from the AFL regarding placement and size, has the change to the ribbon allowed for a bigger shield on the jumper

Probably, and in places like the website, ladders, fixtures etc. where you would typically see our logo as a small icon, it will look much better as the shield can now scale up to fill more of the space.

It’s was outdated.

This has minimal impact to the overall design you love.

Neatens it up.
Disagree. Dropping the ribbon and the change from St KFC to St Kilda are big changes to the logo that make it worse. Also don't think it was outdated, it's aged better than most other club logos bar Carlton.

We are “St Kilda”

In 2024 and beyond we shouldn’t be rolling with

ST KFC

it’s a nice change. Each to their own though

Very similar, but I feel like you’ve taken away the elements that made it unique—the ribbon, the Latin, and the 'St. K.F.C.'

At least it's not Gold Coast.

What’s the story behind the funky ‘T’ with the dot underneath? Have always wondered that.

We dot our T’s and cross our eyes here at the Saints

Wishful thinking on my part, but I'd love to see the sponsor removed from the front and the emblem up higher.

As for the design, my only real gripe is the black box like BrutThough mentioned, otherwise on a scale of Gold Coast to 10 I'd place it around an 8.
Modernizes the classic look without any aggressive angles.

Didn’t need to change, the old logo was fine. Don’t understand why this had to happen.

All things considered, it’s not bad. Definitely didn’t commit any of the sins that most modern logos suffer from.

I like how the ribbon has a touch of red and black behind it.

Don’t like the shift away from referring to itself as a football club. That aspect of the team must never be forgotten.
