Love them complaining about how those in the Australian media are so sensationalist and hang onto issues for ages, whilst the Americans move on straight away.

As they bring up Damo vs Bevo at the Brownlow from 2015

I wish they had a better producer. Hutchy like a dog with a bone trying to get Damo to admit he went to the North thing. Damo asking Hutchy questions about the racing deal then continually interrupting him to the point Hutchy had to tell him to shut up so he could answer - this would be so much better if there was a firmer hand on the tiller. Their discussion on Woolies and sledging of Tom Morris was terrific. More of that insight please.

I didn’t account for them sneaking one in before Super Bowl and them talking about wrestling

Wrestling comes up a lot the last couple of years, and as much as I get a kick out of Damo being COMPLETELY oblivious to what any of it is about, you can tell Hutchy would love to spend a half hour a week talking about it.

I've taken to just sampling the show now as I enjoy the discussion around machinations in the corporate and media world, less so the navel gazing and airport segment. I thought there was a lot of waste today - over 8 mins arguing over Pendles and another 5 or 6 on the ABC stealing Damo's podcast name. It'd be fine if the show was longer and they actually got some meat and potatoes discussion in there too, but they lose all their time getting sidetracked and brush over more interesting stuff. The promising discussion of how the ABC spends its money was left "for another show".

The best thing about The Sounding Board's production is the time stamps. They've never been more necessary.

To paraphrase Hutchy, I'm now a consumer of snack-sized Sounding Board content.

Yeah, I use them a fair bit but I listened to most of this weeks episode.

Time stamps are a must I reckon for podcasts who have episodes go over 45 minutes, I think most people wouldn't bother shuffling through the episode if they were not any.

Is Hutchy a Trump supporter? Kind of gives off the vibe he is, which would completely go against the image he has tried to cultivate the past couple of years.

If you are like him and do business in America it's probably a good decision to sit on the fence in regards to their politics.

And in other news the haters are not going to like him making millions from selling his share of the Wildcats.

Think he is just fascinated with all things USA, including their politics.

He was on the DeSantis train before DeSantis was dumped out of the primaries.

Enjoyed the Dusty Martin war story this week, need more of that sort of thing on the podcast IMO. Less opinion, more behind the scenes stuff.

The glass jaw should be named after Damo, never has there been a person so insecure and triggered anytime anyone mentions anything he has worked on or been involved in. He constantly has to talk up his crap podcasts rating, MMMs ratings, things he has reported on before anyone else etc etc

McGuire filling in this week with Hutchy away...
Might be the first time I give the main show the Damo's Dish treatment and just instantly delete before even listening tbh

Just finished listening to it.
Most episodes go for about 40 minutes, this one went for over 50.
Gee McGuire likes the sound of his own voice and opinions.
Damo should give back to Hutchy half his payment as he didn’t add much as McChins just kept talking.
Saying all that, I didn’t mind it as a one off, the history of how broke the TV networks were in the 80’s and 90’s was interesting.

Does anyone actually listen to Damo's dish? I mean i guess it could be good, I've never listened to a second of it.
