Paddy “Captain Woke” Cummins- Leader, activist, glasses model, bloody good cricketer. Seers, seers as member of the public, cannot be dismissed at night.
Travis Head- See ball, hit ball. Can party a bit too. Vice Captain and steps in for the captain if he is given out, taking on all abilities.
Marnus Labuschagne – not very appealing/ appeals for everything. Appeal/ vote is worth two. Assists with dismissals.
Alex Carey- Staunch. Can invoke the spirit of cricket and block a night action. Assists with dismissals.
Win condition: eliminate all Julios players, the Serial Killers, and equal or outnumber the public
Julios
Steve “Smudge” Smith- Former captain/ cheat- Seers, seers as member of the public, cannot be dismissed at night.
David “Bull” Warner- The Bull. Famous wife works well in tight spaces. Steps up to take on the captaincy if Smith is given out. Takes on all abilities of the captain.
Nathan “Gary” Lyon – The GOAT. Can hold up an end with precise bowling resulting in the silencing of a player during the day phase. Must change ends at the end of the over so cannot silence the same player over consecutive nights. Assist with dismissals
Cameron Bancroft- holder of the sandpaper and expendable. Julios get two kills if he is dismissed overnight but will get three if all three teammates successfully appeal for him and he is given out during the day.
Win condition: eliminate all Nerds players, the Serial Killers, and equal or outnumber the public
NEUTRAL
Cricket Australia (Serial Killer) – The real villains. Cannot be dismissed at night, Can dismiss a player at night, seers as public.
Indian Bookmaker (Serial Killer)- Can seer a player nightly. Can pass on information anonymously, whether accurate or inaccurate. Seers as member of the public. Can be dismissed at night.
Win condition: Make it to the final four players
THE GENERAL PUBLIC
Justin Langer (Vigilante) – the bitter old school former coach trying to stay relevant. Gets to dismiss someone at night.
David Boon (Town Drunk) – no specific abilities, just drank 52 cans on a plane of the way to England once.
Errol Alcott (Team Physio) – Professional. chooses one player to rehab each night from all night actions; may not choose the same player on consecutive nights
Ricky Ponting (Punter) – Dishlicker man , wine merchant and hair plug aficionado. Can take a punt on three actions. Kill, protect and seer. Must wait two night after using ability to use the same action again.
Shane Warne (Seer) – bowling maiden overs on and off the field (well not anymore). Chooses one player each night to discover their role; will not be told whether they are the real seer or the fake seer
Stuart McGill (Fake seer) – businessman who learnt the hard way not to do business with family. Chooses one player each night to discover their role but is told incorrect information; will not be told whether they are the real seer or the fake seer
Flogs x3 – Michale Clarke, Chris Gayle, Mitchell Johnson – three flogs who know each other’s role and share a PM. One dismissal, one protect and one seer to be used at their disposal.
All other players are members of the public with no special abilities
Win condition: eliminate all Nerds players, Julios players and the Serial Killers
The Ashes - Neutral
The ashes protect the holder from all night and day actions (including dismissal), will be randomly handed out at the start and must be passed on by the end of the next day phase or will be re-randomised.
Basic rules:
Roles will be randomly assigned to all players, which will be communicated via PM (except for members of the public). The Australian public must identify and remove all players not aligned with the spirit of cricket before these players can survive long enough villagers to satisfy their win condition. Unlike real cricket, there are no draws.
Each day will consist of two phases:
Night phase (9pm – 6am AEDST)
Players with night actions will nominate targets via PM during this phase. Nominations will not be accepted after 6:00am whether or not deadline has been announced.
Day phase (6am – 9pm AEDST)
After the results of night actions have been announced all players will publicly vote to lynch one player during this phase. Votes will not be accepted after 9pm whether or not deadline has been announced.
Appeals:
All players are required to appeal (vote). Just like real cricket, you do not need a valid reason.
Please bold the name of the player you wish to be out and tag the umpire as follows:
Appeals will not be counted if they are not bolded. All players must appeal for a player to be lynched. Votes to abstain will not be counted as a vote. If a player fails to appeal or fails to submit a night action on two consecutive nights or miss night actions in three nights across the game they will be modkilled. Modkilled players will not be invited into the Dead PM.
If there is a tie in voting, the third umpire jmoo wan) will be used to choose the unlucky victim.

Ashes must be sent by PM. This is for clarity.

While the game is running players are not permitted to discuss the game anywhere but, in this thread, the Dead PM or PM’s related to this game, if you have one. Posting screenshots and quoting PM’s are prohibited. Players caught breaching these rules will be modkilled without warning and denied entry to the Dead PM.

Players who are killed are permitted to post a farewell post provided that it does not impact the game (eg. “thanks for the game” or “good luck”). Dead players must leave the game immediately and are not permitted to post or like posts in the game thread or any PM they are a part of (except the Dead PM) until the end of the game.
EDITING/DELETING POSTS
Players are not permitted to edit or delete posts during the game. This is at the discretion of the umpire. Only posts that are listed as edited will be seen to be edited. Doing so will result in the player being given out and not being permitted to join the Dead PM.
