Re: The Stock Up Thread

The 2010 Guernsy signed and framed with picks of Dids and Swanny that I got leading into the finals would have sky rocketed in value over the last week

Wow nice work shawthing. I bought one of the $150 premiership guernseys and would love to get it signed by the boys and then framed.
What'd be the best way of going about it? Pre season training?

I haven't been to training for forever, I actually got it at what's new. Pretty sure if you hang back long enough after training most guys will give a scribble but I haven't done that since I was a kid.

Re: The Stock Up Thread

At Family Day I bought the pennant, stubbie holder, poster, print, souvenir booklet, poster and got my photo taken with the (what I assume was a replica) premiership cup. Bought the Sunday Herald Sun, Sunday Age and Monday's Herald Sun.

Thinking of the $250 replica cup but might settle for the smaller $40 one.

Re: The Stock Up Thread

So far I have;

* DVD - Premiers 2010
* T-Shirt - Premiers 2010, white one with score down bottom
* Polo - Premiers 2010, black with premiers logo on front, big logo on back
* 4 Weg/Knight Posters - including 1 laminated
* 2 premiership posters - entire list with premiers sign behind them

And I'm hoping they release a premiership scarf, I want one badly to go with my collectors edition Members 2010 scarf.:)

Thanks bud, my sister has had her scarf since 1990 and wants to replace it with a 2010 premiership one.

And there's an AFL store just down the road, nice.:)

Ok everyone, settle down, it seems we have all gone a bit "nuts".

COLLINGWOOD merchandise is flying off the shelves with the club selling more than $1 million worth since the first Grand Final week.

Pies fans have already smashed the all-time Herald Sun premiership poster sales record, which stood at 118,000 sold after Collingwood won in 1990. Hundreds of Collingwood fans waited throughout the night to be the first in line for the posters on Sunday morning.

1990 weg posters - original

hi guys

looking on ebay it appears people are trying to sell ORIGINAL 1990 WEG POSTERS for enormous amounts....minimum $99.

i bought 20 of them in 1990, plastered them all over a house at a family get together soon after. family is full of essendon supporters. needless to say they didnt survive the day. no problem.

i now find i have 3 left, found sitting in a cupboard.

im not trying to sell them thru bigfooty, but trying to see how much interest is in them. maybe do a swap for something of interest.

they are the originals, not reprints, they are a bit brown with age, as newspaper does, but theres no creases, rips or folded corners.

It would be interesting to follow a true auction of your posters - I'm heartilly sick of Ebay items with ludicrous starting bids, if the others start at $99 I'll give them a miss, if yours are on their starting a $0.99 I'll throw in a $110 bid just to annoy of the reservists:D

Re: 1990 weg posters - original

im not trying to make a heap of cash out of it - if theres someone (entrepreneur) who wants to frame them up, maybe with years poster, then yeah send me something else you make (eg framed team poster)
or dvd's - whatever.

i dont want the whole ebay issue. happy for someone else to go to the trouble to try to make the real cash.
