don't have any sympathy 4 these types. and flares should be comfiscated. but the cause of the rage was the melbourne city goalie throwing a lit flare into the crowd. at the other end a flare was tossed onto the ground and the victory goalie took it behind the goal and stood on it 2 put it out.

I remember going to a Victory vs City/Heart game at Etihad and the Victory supporters were throwing seats onto people and the ground below from the 3rd deck, along with bottles etc.

Left early, haven't been to the soccer since.
