Never understood removing scoring, isn’t keeping scoring the best way to teach kids its ok to not always win?

Kids keep scores themselves anyway, they aren’t stupid.

I think it’s overblown by the media too.

I have nephews who play footy, all keep scores (except for in like under 8s and who cares at that level), have individual awards etc

Youth sports is taken pretty seriously, sometimes too seriously.

100% agree man, when my bros played under 10s and shit, scores were defiantly kept, individual awards were given out, it was great.

Yes parents 100% take it too seriously (and seen the occasional fights between parents as well which is ugly) but to take away scores in all juniors is a bit of a reach. They need to learn lessons playing sport as well and nothing wrong with rewarding kids
