I really don't think it's very nice that the world is making so much of Rachel aka Raygun. She did her best and obviously was trying to do creative 'aussie' inspired moves. I really feel for her.

1st above all, Rachel Gunn is a human being and does not deserve to be endlessly mocked.

She did her best. That's all anyone can ask. Even if she wasn't relatively 'good' she doesn't deserve the mockery that she has received. Imagine if this happened to you or your family.

She won a tournament to decide that she was Australia's best. If you look at her non-olympic videos online she's a lot better and cooler than people think.

I think that she thought that being hyper-creative and making a lot of Australian cultural references was the way to go.

I think in hindsight it wasn't, but I applaud her for thinking outside the box and being proud of her country.
