Yeah i think we all had reasonable points as to why we didn't want Bullioh to win, so pipe down a bit Kramer. Some of these comments may be somewhat netball-like, however there is some truth to them! No scientific studies are required to prove that Bullioh have some pretty ordinary people (just look at the inhouse bickering at quarter breaks, cheap shots against kids stepping up from thirds, players' mothers scaling the boundary line, blokes girlfriends...) its totally true that at any football club theres going to be problems - its the weight of numbers, however these issues arent common at the other clubs.

To Bullioh's credit they probably have the biggest home ground advantage in the comp and always make use of that - beating them on their turf is huge.
well said silver kid!! bullioh are in all sorts off the feild, will be intresting to see what happens at there end of year funtion this year??? a player punching a netballer last year was a discrace, maybe a stabbing or sumthing this time round??:D

Unit i want bullioh to win because thier the only club that hasn't spent any money on players this season so they say. But i would like to know why the canteen prices went up $4 a pie an $2 a cup of coffee what are they going to charge grand final weekend. 22 was the player spitting water on a cudgie player also elbowing the player in the ribs when the ball was 50m away or more what a hero

HEY CHOPPER69 WHO WEARS NUMBER 22????:confused:

Well the Blue Boys didnt have a very good day on the field today. Going down in both Seniors & Reserves. Dont worry boys at least you still have the girls to barrack for next week.
Corryong again showed why they should never be underestimated come finals. Lets hope they can at least make a game of it next week fingers crossed Bullioh choke at the final hurdle again :p

in the end the blues were lucky to get where they did.no signings in the ones leaves me wondering if they will resign mcsweeny???? it may be time for a cash injection to match that of bullioh!!!! in the 2's it seemed that they tried hard but just missed out.what happened super wog???? Corryong have made the gf on what would seem to be a slow start to the season.they have won flags from similar positions before and can't be ruled out of it next week. The big question is if bullioh wim the flag how many players will return next season and how much will it cost them.

Well done to Corryong an B/W in making the grand final bad luck to cudgie just going down by 3pts in the seniors an about 4gls in the ressies.
Lets hope John [walrus] Waldron can pull something out of his bag of tricks to combat bulliohs forward line or it might be along day at the office

Great work by corryong - have picked up a few players but definately aren't breaking the bank. they will need to pull off something special - but they are the finals specialists and just ask feds about how good they are as underdogs. you would think corryong will need to start well - take a decent lead into the main break and hopefully bullioh will get frustrated and start arguing with each other!

little rumor on feds chasing matt jones back to the club as coach next year.
cudgie also looking for a coach after mcsweeny not taking the job on again, but may not need look to far as there ruckman would fit the role quite nicely but may need to get a a/c from albury/wod to recruit some players wif him being new to the area.

fair call super wog.if they got someone from town who 5 plus players they would be a stronger outfit next season.just wondering if matt jones would take the job on???? it's a rebuilding stage for feds plus alot of players are getting sick of the travel factor.

Read on here earlier that Feds were talking to Brookes from Chiltern to coach plus a cpl of others from there.:confused::confused:

Can't see that happening TC.
After Brookes as AC at Chiltern this season and Dickins not coaching again, he would be in line for the main job at Chiltern.

Never mind the fact that Fed's would have to pay him $30,000 just for petrol money alone!!:p

Season's not quite over and Feds are busy trying to get a coach - does it seem like they're trying not to make the same mistakes as 08??:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Any news about either the demons or bullioh going into the big game? From what i hear only a couple of the corryong players did the usual pre grand final routine - get abolutely sh*t faced the weekend before - why change the routine...

Theres a few whispers going up and down the hill that Corryong have named a past player/players on the team sheet throughout the year so they can qualify for the big game if they made it. Apparently they have havnt played a game all year but have been keeping fit for the oneday in september.

anyone else heard this? Matt Merrick? Mick Wild? Nathan Collins? Josh Collins? Michael Mack? Albert Friejah?

No truth to this whatsoever. Clubs have to think about team balance and game plans/set plays etc and this is not possible with a player that hasn't actually played a game all year (unless he's a James Hird or equivalent).

wats the truth in the rumor that deaf duncan maybe going to line up on shane reid in the big game, would be a huge bonus for corryong if he gets up for the big game.

my tips for the lame game;
1st grade
bullioh by 40 points

2nds
bullioh by 50 points ( gibbsy best on ground medal)

cudgy to win all grades of netball GO GIRLS

OK, I think we can definitely confirm the following.

1. Bullioh are clearly trying to buy a premiership. Who do they think they are fooling? Trying to attract quality players. It's almost like they have been trying to win the flag all along.

2. Bullioh are paying out big dollars to contracted reserves players. I mean, have a look at the team. Their are some incredible athletes running around in that team. You have to pay big dollars to attract that sort of cattle.

3. Corryong will only name three players invovled in last weeks victory to play off in the GF this week. The remainder will come from the 1995 premiership team, James Hird and Duncan.

MY TIPS 4 THIS WEEK
As much i hate to say it Bullioh by 8gls with billiemeandad nichol sharing BOG
I CAN ONLY HOPE B/W BEAT BULLIOH IN THE RESSIES

TUMBA IN THE U16 BY 13PTS

After last years Grand Finals upsets my tips for the premiership are

The Seniors
* Corryong by 5 points in an upset. The doggies are under more pressure than last year to win a flag while the young Demons have nothing to lose.

The Reserves
*Border Walwa by 10 points. Several Bullioh players will have their nose's out of joint after being demoted late in the season and missing out at selection on the Thursday night. That senario does'nt bode well against a magpie team that has had settled side for the whole season.

The Under 16's
*Tumba by 30 points. A peranial power in the thirds this run of dominance shoud continue on Saturday. Pity their seniors couldn't their act together.

All the best to both the footballers and netballers at the weekend.:):):)

OMG R u serious. Wot a load of crap. Please dont tell me that Bullioh are making excuses already. Personally I cant wait for the season to finish, the crap coming out on this thread now is getting beyond a joke.
Corryong for Premiers. :):):)
Bullioh to be Choking in the gutter again.:p:p:p

well lets hope that the gf is a ripper and corryong stick it up the dogs and pull the choker chain even tighter.in the 2's it should be really close with walwa getting over the line.they have a few senior players in their line up aswell.GW26 thanks for your input during the season it has been good to read your one liners in between all those stars.Bad luck to the blues but look out next season.with GW26 going back up the hill farmers should lock away there daughters.:cool::cool:
