Can't remember an election this dire. both outcomes are horrible, on the one hand Trump is Trump as we all know, and on the other, re-electing/election the VP of the administration that has aided and abetted genocide, basically letting them get away with it? Grim.

Harris is running an awful campaign. Beating one of the most hated men in history should be an absolute layup but she just keeps missing easy opportunities to run the score up. It often seems like they're trying to lose with how little they're offering, but I'm starting to think the idea is to promise as little as possible so she can't be held to anything if/when she's in office. Trump on the other hand looks like Al Capone going fishing in his swimming pool most days, hard to discern much of a strategy at all.

Grim grim scenes. Hopefully the US Empire rolls up sooner rather than later so we don't have to worry about this shit anymore.

The whole aiding and abetting genocide is a huge furphy when you look at the reality of US politics.

Unfortunately the Israeli lobby has far too much money and influence on both major parties. There was a recent case where Zionist factions stood someone against a progressive pro peace candidate and got them up over the progressive.

At least Harris has tried to distance herself from Netanyahu and called for a ceasefire while Trump is actively on the phone to him telling him to go for it.

The unfortunate reality is that most US citizens don’t give a **** about Israel going after HAMAS and to take an anti Israel stance is political suicide.

He’s not a good bloke though.

He’s someone who’s on record to say he’ll lie if it gets him what he wants.

One example. He doubled down on the immigrants eating pets lie even though it had been thoroughly discredited.
 
Vance is very polished and intelligent.

He’s also a very accomplished and ruthless liar.

He’s done a complete 180 on Trump because he’s seen an opportunity for himself. Just look at his historical comments on Trump.

He’s also deep into Project 2025 which is a terrifying blueprint for the future of America. It’s not that far removed from the Handmaid’s Tale.

I wouldn’t be surprised that if Trump is elected that Vance will force him out as being unfit for office and take control.
