Also because you never get 'upset' by anything Team MAGA does, but you're always so quick to post about anything the Democrats do that irks you.

Such a good team player.

It doesn’t irk me. I watch Kill Tony every week, I don’t think it was a good idea to get Tony Hinchcilffe to speak at a political rally.

I just find the hypocrisy hilarious. I enjoy watching people do mental gymnastics for their team.

Have given it some thought and I think these are the two most likely scenarios for the results.

Option 1: Kamala ekes out a win

Option 2: Trump out-performs polling again, wins

In neither scenario do I see Trump winning WI or MI, nor do I see Kamala pulling ahead in AZ or GA. Which means it really does come down to Pennsylvania like so many have been saying.

The only potential upsets to watch imho are North Carolina for Kamala, and Nevada for Trump.

Nevada is going to be close, but honestly I think the Puerto Rico thing closed the door on any potential Trump upset win in that state. The Latino voting bloc is just too strong in that state, and that issue has clearly mobilised that base.

I didn’t pretend to get upset about the Puerto Rico thing because it was clearly a joke by a guy that makes a living by roasting.
The problem with using comedians and jokes in the political context in this way is that it all normalises conversations in this way which then weaponises those who take the cultural/political discourse seriously. And with the way in which the US operates, it's cheerleading culture etc it becomes toxic and then a basis for policy making because politicians then have to play to their base. It's terribly irresponsible and dangerous.

It's also worth pointing out that Biden didn't actually call Trump voters garbage. He called Hinchcliffe's joke garbage, but the Republicans chopped quote up to make it look like something it wasn't and the media continue to be useful idiots for them.

Some comedians would be ok, but not Hinchcliffe, the dude is brutal

Whoever decided to have him there and vetted his jokes for that night...should be the ones getting the heat.

Even though I'm not particularly a fan of his......Tony shouldn't be getting the blame.

The ironic thing is that Kill Tony will will be even bigger after that, just like the last time some long forgotten comedian tried to get him canceled

Oh really? I only heard a news clip this morning saying that the Harris team has distanced themselves from Biden because of the comment.

As Trump would say “fake news”… ****ing hate it. Just report what actually happened ffs.

This goes into the issue in more detail. imo he still shouldn't have said it because it could so easily be twisted, but yeah I agree with your frustration.

Hmmm. There’s no actual quote there, just a response from the White House saying that he was referring to the joke made.

Is there any footage, or sound bite of Biden saying whatever tf he said?

But that reading makes no sense within the context of the quote. If he's referring to Trump's supporters as garbage, then why would he immediately refer to "his demonisation" of Latinos? Because he's referring to a person, not a group. The beginning of the quote even refers to Hinchcliffe directly.

-----------------

If I am American, this is probably the top thing that motivates me against the GOP policy wise.

They are never going to stop trying to rip up the ACA. Wonder how many of his own supporters know. Meanwhile, they have had 8 years to come up with a policy.

Give me a break.

Because he’s losing his mind. The fact is he literally said “the only garbage he sees floating out there are his supporters”
