There's a guy 3 doors down in this hotel claiming to have gone to college with Trump.
Says his business will be over if Trump doesn't win.
He looks like he is about to have a heart attack.
I asked him if it was easy to vote from outside US.
Said he hasn't voted.

Told me he is writing the sequel to Casablanca. It's going to be much better

Razor wire. Thick black iron fencing. Metal detectors. Armed security guards. Bomb sweeps.

The security at this centre where workers count ballots mirrors what you might see at an airport - or even a prison. And, if needed, plans are in place to further bolster security to include drones, officers on horseback and police snipers on rooftops.

Maricopa County became the centre of election conspiracy theories during the 2020 presidential contest, after Donald Trump spread unfounded claims of voter fraud when he lost the state to Joe Biden by fewer than 11,000 votes.

Falsehoods went viral, armed protesters flooded the building where ballots were being tallied and a flurry of lawsuits and audits aimed to challenge the results.

The election’s aftermath transformed how officials here handle the typically mundane procedure of counting ballots and ushered in a new era of high security.

Did he do it because of his belief that the Democrats are placing illegal aliens is swing states and therefore turning those states into blue states?

It was because of Elon Musk.

Foucault's boomerang in full effect.

Prediction time.

I think Harris wins and wins easily.

Trump's "stop the steal" rhetoric falls flat outside some localised small scale bullshit
I think Harris will win for the very reason you posted maybe the day she won the nomination - women voters.

Trump has the same advantage with men as Harris does with women, but women being far more likely to vote should make the difference.

I don’t think we’ll ever see the end of Trump though…

Trump is almost certainly in jail by Xmas if she wins.

I don't think we'll ever see Trump in "jail", as much as I'd like to see it and as much as I think he genuinely deserves it for the corruption and crimes he has committed. But unfortunately I don't have much faith in the American justice system when it comes to the ultra-wealthy.

What I think we will see, potentially, is a situation where Trump is confined to Mar-a-Lago.

Either through a sentenced 'house-arrest' situation, or through a defacto 'siege' type of situation where Trump refuses to leave Mar-a-Lago to be sentenced or incarcerated, and to avoid an awkward situation where Secret Service agents are put between their protectee and law enforcement officers sent to take Trump into custody, an uneasy détente will be fomented.

(All of this is of course moot if he wins again, because he'll simply pardon himself, his family, and his cronies on day one for any past or future crimes. Which is something all innocent people totally do).

Nah I don’t think so. Trump didn’t go after anyone after he was elected, if the Democrats do it it’ll become banana republic type stuff.
It’s too late. He’s already been convicted for the hush money stuff. He’s scheduled to be sentenced in three weeks.

Then, even if he appeals that, there’s the three cases relating to election interference and stealing classified documents he’s got to look forward to, which are all ongoing.
