I think Hansen with a preseason under his belt is where we will be able to gauge what we have?

I can't actually remember when we had, or were aligned with, a VFL team that was as competitive as this one.

Xerri and Harvey in. Perez hit some nice kicks - not a dominant game but surely we give him another crack? Goater probably needs another week to be fully fit but he looked class - too good for the level - and took a terrific contested mark.

Love it when kids sniff a chance in the 1’s and go out and dominate in the 2s. X and Coops in, give them both a month. I’d bring in a defender or 2 as well - the VFL defensive unit has been very stingy

First signs of improvement in your AFL program is a good strong VFL team.

Club is building.

While we might be frustrated with the performances at AFL level I think we are tracking miles in front of last year.

Werribee and Willy very impressive considering they are stand alone clubs

Played well I thought. Not a huge day on the stat sheet but defended really well and was good with ball in hand.

Beat his man, attacked the ball in defence, good intensity and used it well the few times he had it. He’s had a couple good weeks.
