He kind of dobbed on himself here. Admitted there was a leak and has no idea where it came from. Naming Hunter in the team only for him to be sub was clearly a reaction to the story getting out.

Very embarrassing from him. And annoying that he made Morris look good by comparison.

Anyway, glad that all the talk back tomorrow will be about his tantrum. Should be fun listening.

Surely it isn’t as simple as someone (maybe Hunter himself) leaking something about selection. They way he was going on was as though there was something far more personal involved.

Doesn't take that much with Bevo. He can hold a grudge with the best of them. Look at how he handled Damian Barrett. The ironic thing is that he tries to give them an authoritarian dressing down, but he ultimately gives them more power and influence over him. He doesn't keep his composure and that will always hurt him more than the gutter journo he's whining about. When he's foaming about the press he's less focussed on the issues that really matter.
