As i said, I actually have no idea what the story was lol I don't give a **** about any shit like this any more, we won the flag and until 7 pm last night I didn't take notice of anything in the AFL.

But in everything prior Morris has reported, he sensationalises everything to make any normal discussion inside a club seem fractious. He did with us and does it a lot. He also does it was a smarmy shit eating grin. So I can see how most in clubland would hate him. He brings a lot of negativity to banal issues. So **** him.

I barely pay attention to footy media at all which is why I was so confused about this outburst. Now listening to the dreaded Damo this morning, I'm shocked to find out Bevo has form acting like this - I actually thought he was one of the good ones.

It doesn't matter who the journo is (even if they are from Fox, Herald Sun or some other rag) their only asking questions about football and even more trivial, about selection.

I think Bevo needs to acquire the services of whoever straightened up Goody at the end of 2019. Not that Goody would ever behave like this. But I think Bevo needs a reminder there's a world outside of footy, cause he seems to have lost all perspective.

Can't understate how serious this is. We know the kids are watching and immitate what they see at the highest level. It trickles down. Look out for 10 year olds ripping into journalists in the junior leagues.

I have a feeling that Bevo is feeling the pressure pretty generally - even though that seems a bit crazy for a coach of a team to play in the GF.

Anyone who lurks other club boards obsessively will have seen that a fair old number of Western TM supporters are entirely certain that they have the strongest and most talented list in the competition by a fair margin, and I’ve seen it said that this is the time when they will enjoy a dynasty. The media pretty much joined in with the notion for much of last year, only dropping off slightly when their form took a slide at the end of the year.

The bar is set pretty high when supporters think they deserve a premiership, and if they are convinced they have the superior list then the blame for every loss is going to rest on the coach. The bulldogs were utterly dismantled in the GF by Melbourne, then over a period of time when the club supporters have convinced themselves it was an aberration and gone full Che Guevara (Jesus that idea is mental) they get pretty clearly dismantled again - without the handy idea of 24 of their best 22 out. Bevo himself has surely been spending a fair bit of energy working on how to turn the tables on Melbourne and it goes horribly wrong when they are outplayed again by a needs-must backline.

He’s in some trouble and is feeling it. Not many clubs have been cowed by Joel Smith to date

They probably have the deepest midfield in the league but that's it, they just don't have the guys behind the ball to turn a game

They could use another Bob Murphy. Him and Caleb running around together would be daunting, especially if they could conjure up a Steven May into the bargain. Weird forward lines can work themselves out if everything behind works well. For some reason it dawned on me yesterday that they really struggle with ball movement forward and accuracy under any amount of pressure. I hadn’t noticed before which is a bit dumb but that’s because they go full globetrotter on the inexperienced teams.
