Trades I did this week ready for round 9 -

Neade > Kennedy
Wines > Mitchell

I'm a little weary at the moment if Kennedy will get any games, But all I require from him is to make me some $$.. Being a mid now it also helps me from downgrading crouch and moving kennedy into the mid and upgrading him too.

Next week if injury free and Kennedy plays this week and allows me to keep the team the way it is, depending on Hartletts game this week against carlton could either see me bring a straight downgrade to goodes if another 30ish score "Price will go down to much to "upgrade him" Or if he has a decent game and price doesn't change much could see me trade out hartlett for P Hanley...

Either way, Next week hartlett is in my sights! I even considered upgrading hartlett this week to hanley and do Wines - Mitchell next week!

I would like Buddy, but might end up swinging Bartel or Daisy to the mids in the next couple of weeks once he bottoms out completely rather than getting him in this week. Also I feel like I need to start bringing in some uniques in my team (which Walters is).

Next week looking at Stevenson > Thurlow and Neade > Watson. Or if buddy goes crazy and actually kicks the pill through the sticks I might consider him... but I really want Watson as he will be at his absolute low next week.

I'm still spewing about trading O'Keefe in ahead of S.Selwood in round 2, mainly because i had Scooter pretty much all pre season but apparantly one game was enough to turn me off him

My forwardline is complete and I'm very happy with it at the moment, my mids are decent but would look a lot better with Selwood instead of O'Keefe! My backline needs a fair bit of work. 150k in the bank is handy

Thoughts on team 1 v Team 2? Obviously the major change is 7 premo mids in team 1 and 4 premo defenders in team 2.

I am really tossing up with what to do and some advice would be great. I think I can ride out the defence a little longer with only 3 premo's (yes I know a lot of you don't think harlett is a premo but I do), as Goodes and Vlas will save me for a couple more weeks till I can make the fix.

If I go with the 7 premo mids I can then make Mayes Franklin next week and then put all my focus into the back for the following 2-3 weeks. Team 1 gives me a projected of over 2200.

Couple minor changes that could be made is Thurlow > Siearakowski depending on teams named and also Lids > Watson, still tossing up between the 2.

From a short term points point of view, Thurlow and Deledio would be likely to score more IMO.

Here is my team at the moment. Fairly happy with it but need to create DPP links. Probably Wines to Thurlow next week, and then potentially upgrade Jones to premium mid, or downgrade stephenson to a defensive rookie.

Weighing up 3 premo defenders and 7 premo mids or 4 premo defenders and 6 premo mids. I feel I can ride out the defence carnage for a little longer as Goodes is now back and Vlas is firing. Thurlow/Sierakowski is all dependant on who is picked.

Lids, Watson and soon to be Cotchin will not get any cheaper over the coming weeks and will start to rise again, want to jump on them now.

Yeah I think getting Lids would be how'd I'd go. But you'd need to also look at your bye strategy (I haven't looked at your team for byes so you may be sweet). With 15 weeks left getting someone who will help you avoid a donut versus one that won't will give you a 7% benefit.

I've just done my bye strategy and the trades I need for my bye strategy seem to fit with a decent BE strategy, but of course it will all change with injuries etc. But for now I've got a trading plan for the next 2/3 weeks which will mean no donuts best case scenario, but odds of it being best case scenario is very low I think.

Heaps proud (and a bit jealous) of my Dads team, especially since it's his first year of DT.

5 premo backs, 7 premo mids, 4 premo fwds. Some great cash generation and upgrade options in the coming rounds. He'd be top 50 if he didn't stuff up first two rounds by having no emergencies selected, got a couple donuts with players 90-100 on the pine.

Ranked exactly 500. Despite scores of 1,703 and 1,962 for his first two rounds he's gone -

For the love of god Brichall and Hartlett at least get 80 each and i will be more than fine. Loving the midfield being finished. Backline is the focus next, but happy with what i got for now.

Following week Goodes > Gibbs at his absolute low. Then team is only 1-2 spots of being finished.
