Were you young enough to see Mark Jacko Jackson play?

If so, did he do any stupid stuff on the field? LoL
The famous handstand in the goal square?
He did it after his opponent said "you'll never be a footballer with your arse pointing to the ground"

Lindsay Gilbee's first event at a footballer, he was told it would be $200 for turning up to the appearance.

He turns up in his Bulldogs polo, and says "I brought the $200, what do I do?"

He didn't realize he be getting paid for the appearance!

I think Ted Richards’ brother turned down a contract extension with Sydney because he wanted a better deal elsewhere.

Got no other offer, never played AFL footy again.

EDIT:

At the conclusion of 2016 season, he requested a trade from the Swans after failing to agree to terms for a new contract.[3]However, he was unable to find a club during the trade period and was subsequently delisted by the club less than four weeks after appearing in the 2016 AFL Grand Final.[4] He nominated for the AFL draft, but was not selected by any club.

I remember this, he must have had a terrible agent

He has the unique record in the SANFL. Playing career from 1969-1990.

Played in 4 decades of league football in 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s
I actually stood him in a couple of games after he retired from the SANFL and played for a side in the country. Even at 41, he was class above the rest of us

What I don't understand is when two players are on the ground fighting for the ball, then one player drags it in under the other player and lies on top of him holding it to him, earning himself a free kick. Quite often they're making no attempt to take the ball from them, even when the guy underneath is trying to knock it out the player on top will continue to lock it in to him for a free kick. For me that is a dumb and counterintuitive way to adjudicate holding the ball.
I have seen that paid before, but it's very rare.

situation ****ed.

I like that terminology, it should stated be in the rules in such a way.
It doesn't matter what happens afterwards, whether it's the player on top holding the ball in, (as the rules say not to) or the player that initially fell on it desperately trying to punch it clear (as the rules say to)...You're now situation ****ed!

I don’t know if it fits here but I want to whinge - “lick of the ice cream” is the new fad phrase in AFL. Every 2nd player and commentator wants to drop it in. Stfu. Just say share it around.

Leave the dockers to join the doggies and get subbed at 3qt in your third game with them :poo:
RIP lobbe

Rory Lobb is the smartest man in footy.

He has literately done nothing, ever.

Had a 30 goal ‘career year’ in a decent side and scored another bloated contract at age 30 in his preferred state.

A ‘key forward’ that averages a goal a game and can ruck but hates rucking and will leave your club if he has to ruck.

Also regularly injured.

Legend.
