I never had a 5 disc changer back then but I remember other people that did, I didn't really see the point of them.

I guess they may have been good for parties to have a rotation of CDs but I found it easier just to change the CDs.

I was one of those guys that would lurk around the CD player at 90s parties and would change the CDs regardless.

5 discs on shuffle, what a time to be alive. A solid 5-10 second mechanical changeover between songs.

At a Xmas trivia night and Rudolph was the answer to a song and because Xmas they had a singalong and the crowd added extra lyrics - because people in a pub dont sing in harmony it was hard to define what the extra bits they were singing

I remember watching Chris Evert battling it out with Martina Navratilova in the 80s for the title of the women's best tennis player.

I was too young to remember when she was battling it out with another great women's tennis player Billie Jean King in the 70s.

They played on grass courts in the US Open in 1971 back when Chris Evert made her debut as a precocious young 16 year old.

Like Bjorn Borg, John McEnroe, Jimmy Conners, Arthur Ashe, Billie Jean King, Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova.

No mention of Evonne Goolagong Cawley though who won Wimbledon twice, the French Open and the Australian Open 4 times.
