Monday it will be 20 years to the day for me.

I'll be catching up with a few old school mates next month, first time we've all been together for 20 years. And while I'd love to think they all got as fat, bald and grey as I did, I saw photos of 2 of them recently and the pricks could be in GQ magazine

I started high school around the same time and my high school no longer exists, it got shut down later on due to lack of numbers.

The ultimate high school rebellion movie and theme song is from 1985, they were innocent times, no school shootings back then.

We were around 12 or 13 back then when we all still went to the movies with our mates and no dates,

I985 was an incredible time for movies - Back To The Future, Teen Wolf, The Goonies, Witness, Rambo.

No internet, no mobile phones, cars were mostly manual transmissions and much better looking and the music was infinitely better.

When Maths 1 and Science 1 and English were core components to matriculate - not home ed and singstar theory

Or you could do Maths2 , Science2 and English2 for your leavers certificate
