back in the 90s i was at vic park and the noise was so loud a collingwood player kicked a goal after the siron at the end of one of the quarters. From memory the pies won but a goal or so. Anyone remember?

I remember Gavin Brown once kicked the ball on the half time siren against Melbourne in the early 90's, but the umpire claimed the siren went before his goal was kicked. I think we won that game by 6 points. And if I'm not wrong, the exact same thing happened to Gavin Brown again, incidentally against Melbourne, several years later. Not sure what the result for that matchw as though.

But never seen anything as bad as today.

I think this case is different as the siren has gone and then there has been another stoppage in play as the clock stops for the ball up after the siren had allready gone.

Jimmy Stynes running over the mark in the Prelim at Waverley one year to cost the Dees a shot at the Grand Final.

Ryan for Geelong at Kardinia Park the opening round of 1967, the timekeepers sounded the siren for over 2 minutes, Geelong got a second kick at goal and won.

Escort Cup grand final 1980.......

Probably not and if they are, in NSW they will be calling the AFL a rabble of an organisation.

A similar thing happened a few years a go in an NRL game between Wests TIgers and Wuckland (I think) and the NRL overturned the decision.
