This is goal of the year

Pretty sure I already saw Krakouer trying to hide 2 new cars in his garage the other day. Sorry OP.

:D

Although i remember hearing that MOY doesn't receive a car this year? I think BT might have brought it up on AFL Teams one night. For the life of me i can't remember what the actual prize is, but it is pretty piss poor.

It just wont be beaten, should go well with his AA jumper and possible charlie :thumbsu:

Daisy's was better and was considered a run of the mill shot from deep in the pocket for him.
Not a hope this is GoT.

Not very good quality video, but the goal starts at around 20 seconds. Absolute ripper.

Has to contest with Mcgrath while running for the ball, which is bouncing everywhere, controls it with 1 hand, evades Mcgrath, keeps his feet, measures the kick, goal.

Wasn't a flukey snap like a lot of goals these days. He knew exactly what he was doing.

Thought this was better, under more pressure.

Great goal, similar amounts of pressure, but the defining factor is that Fyfe is on the non preferred running away from goal.

Both Thomas and Nicoski have straightened up.

Havent seen anything to worry him so far.

Far too early too say that but it's a ripper. Fyfe's kicked a couple of pearlers this year. Nicoski's was brilliant and Thomas has kicked half a dozen rippers as well. Everyone's in with a shot, a few decent goals this year.

I thought the one he kicked on Sunday where he spoiled Keiren Jack then buttered up and kicked an absolute pearler in the pissing rain was right up there.

Yeah I'd have to agree! I Just don't think a checkside from out a players arse is all that good anymore because all players can do it. Its skill like what he showed in the goal mentioned above that should take it home.

Given the propensity for players to banana the ball - or dribble it along the line and bounce it through nowadays - these are becoming rather more 'simple' than in years gone by.

A goal that went completely un-noticed - not even sure it was nominated was Drew Petrie's set shot goal after the quarter time siren a few weeks back.

Took a grab on the boundary 20m out and basically had a bees dick to aim for. Set sot dobbed it straight through - no running around the mark, no putting work on the ball - just nailed a perfectly straight kick into the shallowest of options.

It's a far rarer goal nowadays

A drop punt aimed at the middle of the goals will always go through the middle.

Fyfe has all comers covered at the moment.

Those trying to discount his effort, have a look again.

yeah Fyfe for mine at this stage. Would have been better if he did a smother or tackle before gathering just for that extra 1%, but a non-preferred banana under pressure is rarely seen and should win it :thumbsu:
