To compare this to Fitzroy is a bit ridiculous. News Limited we the ones who ripped RL apart, and now they are receiving a just punishment for rampant cheating and fraud. If the Storm die, it's quite likely they'll be replaced in the medium term by a new RL club anyway.

He wasn't comparing the Storm to Fitzroy. He was comparing the North Sydney Bears to Fitzroy, which is an apt comparison The bit difference there is that Fitzroy, sad as it was were insolvent. The Bears were kicked out solely because it suited the NRL's expansion plans.

Mate, I can't imagine how you must feel to have your team ripped from you.

Nothing will ever take that back, but are you angrier at the Storm, the NRL, or Manly, who were in principle the ones to engineer the death of the Bears?

Manly had nothing to do with North's demise. They killed themselves.

Manly owned the damn licence having made the 14 team cut-off, as the merger happened after the criteria was handed down.

(Which is different to the other two mergers which both happened prior to the criteria results being published)

The Storm are News Ltd. It was News Ltd who started the Super League war, which lead to the removal of Norths from the competition.

Raskolnikov has every right to hate the Storm.
