Could explain the pace issues, and in any case he has enough footballing ability to be worth a rookie spot. You'd think either your mob or WCE will put him on.

Interestingly, if he doesn't get rookied, he will be the only player from the 2009 U18 All Australian team not to make an afl list

A draft like this one that is pretty even always throws up a few surprises, but looking at this list and there must have been some shocked kids out there on Thursday night. If all of these guys are not training somewhere in the next week I'd be amazed.

Regardless of his pace you would have thought that someone would have punted on him in last years rookie draft. It makes you think that he will be lucky to be taken this year considering the form he showed prior to last years draft.

I would be happy to give him a rookie spot on our list though.
