after laughing my way through this thread i still don't know what a gif is or what it stands for

Whether there was high contact or not is actually completely irrelevant, it's the dramatic "whiplash" or throwing back of the head that makes it disgusting and you probably know this. He isn't the only player to accentuate contact but he is the worst offender.

I'd say most players try to make it obvious when they get hit high, whether that's through exaggerating the pain or going down easily. Darling just looks very silly when he does it.

EDIT: no he isn't the worst offender, he's off and on with doing it and he absorbs contact better than most players
