I know there are plenty of requests for tix out there. I've been lucky to get mine but best mate is 10 year member and missed out. He would take a single anywhere including standing room.
Also, if anyone has seen the 70+ year old blonde lady singing the song last weekend on twitter or faceboook,, we know her and has not been able to get a ticket. She would be a concession holder. She has been stiffed but I won't go into detail but if anyone can get hands on a concession ticket for, she is ok to pay good $$.

The guy is a good friend of a friend and said he has sold/gifted the tickets before and there has never been a issue...He Reckons there is no name on the ticket and it doesn't say anywhere that you can't let someone else use a afl members ticket

Hmmmm

There is no name on them but you aren't meant to gift/sell them. There are people checking that will ask to see your membership card. There aren't many of them, certainly not enough to check even a fraction of those going in but they do exist.
It's a small risk but probably worth it imo.

Having gone through this last year, you'll find a lot of people making bigfooty accounts just to look for tickets.

I'd ask for people's proof of club membership before I'd consider selling them a ticket. If you can afford $500 for a GF ticket you can afford a club membership at the start of the year.

Call me stupid but where do people get off on selling nose bleed seats for 2500+.
I'm lucky enough to have secured good seats but for those who have tickets and don't want to or can't go, how about you stop trying to profit ridiculous amounts of money and help those in need.
Kind of pathetic if you ask me.
