Have a wide range of likes, depending on the atmo.

Hot day, cold VB is the king, if not a cold chardy is quite ok.

Footy? Bourbon and cokes rule the roost. Unfortunately they have that canned shit at the ground. Forces us to bring the flask in with the Wild Turkey and i end up with the cup with the coke that just keeps on getting lighter in colour. ;)

OKAY, it’s beer first and foremost.
Melbourne Bitter stubbies, Carlton on tap.
Overseas brew: Samuel Adams Boston Lager (a fine, fine brew), or a nice pint of Guinness or Kilkenny!

Next up … red, red wine. Favourite drop: Zema (Coonawarra) followed by Hollicks (also Coonawarra), Riddoch (also Coonawarra … seeing a theme develop here).
Cab sav and shiraz are my go.

Outside that …. have been known to guzzle down the odd shot of tequila or six!!

Excellent thread this one … :thumbsu:

No Tiger Beer drinkers amongst you?.. shameful:p.

16 y.o. Lagavulin for me.
I like a bit of the old hip flask action when at the footy. I've got away with it so far, anyone ever been caught out? had a hip flask confiscated?

Court house restaurant-Berwick sat night.

Quail,Filet mignon then profiteroles for desert and a shit load of Stone And Wood Pacific Ale.

Very fruity beer but very drinkable and the waitresses were easy on the eye at the restaurant too lol.

Got some Vb's after that to remind me what real beer tastes like but that was a nice drop as is
Mountain Goat Steam Ale brewed in Tigerland.

Stay away from the XXXX Bright ale.
Drank that in Goldy.
Cats piss.

Love 99 percent of beer I try.

Not fussed except for XXXX.

Coopers red and green ales are awesome.

James Squires Amber Ale I prefer over the Golden.

So many awesome boutique Aussie Brews out there.

Love a Guinness also.

I usually have a few of the reds or greens at the Cricketers Arms before the game.

After a win,I will drink anything.

Beer tastes so much better after a win so why waste your money buying something expensive.

P.S. JAK your post is a pisser.

I love shotties too btw and Jagerbombs.

You can drink 10 of those and not get drunk because of all the Red Bull in it.

Love dropping the Jager shottie into the red bull glass then wooshka down the gullet.

Whatever's going.

Whatever happened to Richmond Lager? I got hold of a few slabs of it (long gone now) a while back.

When CUB bought out the brewer of Richmond Bitter/Lager, it stopped production of it.

Bloody Carlton.

I think they come out in special editions now and then.

Yeah, the cartons i have were a limited run from around 8-10 years ago. It's been a long time since there was a production run of it.

You could still get a hold of Richmond Lager a year or so back, it used to be stocked at our Cricket Club bar (as we are the Tigers).. Not a bad drop, from memory Foster's distributed it (not sure if they still do)...
