Actually on this I agree but i think it should be 25m. This is also the perfect opportunity to keep adding 25m if the bloke standing the mark gets in his way.

25 metres is just way too sensible for the AFL to have corrected it to in last two decades.

The point is more 50 is too much. If a side pushes the limit with a 25 it is very simple, they then deserve another 25, but only having 50 metre options has always been stupid.

I've said it before, instead of 50m or 25m just make it half the distance from where you are now to your goals.
