Time to merge St Kilda and Footscray

So really when you look at the financial state of the clubs it's obvious it should be a Norf and Bulldogs merger. Won't even need to change the colours, just add a bit of red to Norf's jumper.

St Kilda is the only financially viable club out of the three so I don't know why we've been dragged into this cripple fight.

As much as I hate the Saints, Plugger is right.
Which I don't like admitting, given that I actually want the Bulldogs to succeed. But the fact is they aren't doing too well.

I was so touched by your little cry about being the poor victim just standing up for his beloved Norf, I couldn't help being moved to tears. I really was, I thought it was really sweet.

Do you have anyone to talk to about how you're feeling? Someone you can lean on, a sympathetic ear?

"I'm only...*Sniffle Sniffle* trying to stand...*Sniffle*...Stand up for my club!"

Have you whispered anything like that recently to someone you can count on? Someone who knows you well? Someone who understands your angst and pain and what you're going through?

It's natural to feel a little victimized Sweetle. So much of your time devoted to defending your precious Norf and explaining patiently to the loads of skeptics about Norf's future that all is going to be swell....and then not being listened to.

What do you feel when you see the standard variations of "Norf's gonna fold!" on this site? Rage? Anger? Resentment? Insecurity that you might not even believe your 195768th impassioned defence of Norf, or in denial that if you alternate from the impassioned defence and go to mindless abuse or calling said posters "Flogs!", these questions about Norf's future just won't go away?

Does it irk you Sweetle? Enrage you? Do you feel it should be the Dogs and Saints instead? Is it just not fair that it's always Norf getting mentioned in these discussions?

It must anger you, it must gall you and stick in your craw, all this bashing away furiously at your keyboard about how Norf are on the up, how it's the Dogs and Saints that really ought to be worried...and still no one is buying it.

Poor Sweetle, all this angst over whether Norf are going to be alright, the only way to relieve his pain is by projecting it onto clubs that aren't in the firing line
