Just finished listening to the nobes piece on AA.

Got 'some' confidence there is stuff cooking.

Again though, very dissatisfied with the answer to queries on being hamstrung based on agreements back in 2009. Basically acted as if he wasn't there so couldn't say what happened. When pushed to talk about if he was constrained and impacted by it, admitted he would need to work through things with Triggy now Triggy was back.
Still very concerned we need to weigh up some options against potential fall out from something that was agreed to in 2009. Like maybe we agreed we would complete a trade and not let him go into PSD...

So, being a glass half full bloke, I've been certain that the longer this has gone on the more I think we'll get more than 23 plus White etc. Something tells me that Syd are actually trying to get something better to go with this (a pick around 10 or so.)
But after listening to Balme on 5aa the other day and apparently he and an Ess bloke on SEN today; Rowe with his big rumour that will shake the AFC and then reading what Noble said, or didn't say, today, maybe there was something either written or spoken a long time ago that we should be concerned about. And if there is, why would Syd be trying to get us something else? Perhaps they are just being really nice guys? And if they're not trying, why then is this taking so long if we are dealing from such an impossible, hamstrung position?

StuPendus has a point actually. Why infer something is a fact and then scream at the world that no one knows what's happening? The assumed fact here is big as well; that White refused to go to Adelaide.

Haha fair enough, I should of chucked a smilie in there. I can understand why you'd want to get away, schools here can get pretty hectic. Although this thread contains a lot of what could be considered bickering schools children

I'm guessing the deal was, not to send him to the psd and to trade him to the club of his choice, not the 2 2nd rounders clause that has been well publicized.

I've basically gotten to the stage where I just scroll to the bottom of the page and click the next one just for the sake of getting through each page!

But I do enjoy the swings of doom where we're all begging to settle for pick 23 and White (along with members emailing the club) to us demanding the likes of Jetta with pick 23 the next day and still calling it unders!

I think that is where I am getting it wrong, I'm getting caught up in all the swings and roundabouts! I should be scrolling through them!

Shocking article by Rucci.

It seems pretty obvious to me White's chances of ending up at West Lakes are less than 20% now.
With Graham now at the Crows, there seems no need at all to get White. Especially if it means delisting or trading a contracted player!

It also makes it out that we are chasing him .

Sydney offered him as steak knives, we got him over here to see if he was moderately acceptable to pick up, and thought otherwise. Moved on and got Graham on the cheap instead. Thats the way I see it anyway.

The only way I can see us still being interested is if we are trying to turn smack or jerka into a KPD and white is planned as a backup for either.

After listening to Nobes I agree it was good to hear him talk with passion and a bit of anger. However when the question was raised about this agreement any positivity I had disappeared. If there was no agreement he could of easily dispelled it, instead he skirted the question and didn't give a clear answer.

Whoever included this agreement in the previous contract should be sacked for hamstringing the club like this. (if this person is still at the club)
