Yep, I would believe that. Kurt started playing footy when he was well into his teens. I'll bet Reid has been playing with a footy most of his life. Kurt did very well to adapt to AFL in as quick a time as he did. Plus when he was drafted to Adelaide he was in a neck brace for 6 months or so after fracturing a vertebra (IIRC) so had a whole year off footy.

Like I keep saying, I pass on what I'm told, and so far this trade period my mail has been almost spot on. I said Wellingham would be off to West Coast for pick 17 before it happened (despite some ridicule), I said Dawes would be at Melbourne before it happened, despite others saying he wouldn't and would go to the Bulldogs. Tell me any one else who went on record with this (before it happened), then tell me I am a troll. No wonder FAITH has had a guts full of it. Think I'll be gone now as well, but when Muppett is lining up for the swans and Adelaide has its high draft pick, you will know I was on the money

He did, didn't he? Last week, came out with the 6 team mega trade? First three parts have gone pretty close. Wellingham to Eagles for 17, Caddy to Geelong for 13?, Dawes to Melbourne. Got this bit wrong though, said it would be Dawes plus 17 for 4. This was always going to be the hardest part, with Reid from Sydney the next hardest.

Credit where credit is due. The first few parts were pretty good, however the story flat lines here.

Wellingham to West Coast was talked about and 17 was logical price. Caddy to Geelong was talked about and 13 was logical price. Dawes to Melbourne was a good get, but for pick 20 is vastly different than pick 4 which was the cornerstone of his story.

Assume that FAITH is 100% accurate. The club's in private negotiations and it's hand is continually being revealled on the largest AFL forum.

It's fun to have a leak and know what's going on but there's no advantage in that information being out there. All it can potentially do is ruin the AFC's bargaining position.

That's my point as well, I just checked the Crows website and nowhere does it say that we have employed someone by the name of Faith. I'm not saying Faith is right or wrong , if his information is accurate or not but what he post has to only be taken on face value as if it's not true. If any AFL club official was to log on, read what anyone post and takes that as the truth and nothing but the truth is very negligent and irresponsible to their club and position.

The only way I would suggest Faith posting is doing damages to our trading chances would be if someone from say Sydney, Carlton or any other AFL club knew him as faith and he acknowledged to them that he posted on Big Footy under that alias. Some how, I don't think that happens. We have alias for a reason, to hide our identity and hide the links back to our information.

because it's not about whom we are, it's about the words we type and the meaning behind them.

This is my common argument about Big Footy and the internet forms in general, I could be anything from a 250 kg fat man sitting in a singlet posting or a 6 ' 5" dude with a rippling 6 pack - no one will no the difference. That's why people should only ever judge what is written, not on the perception we hold towards the person doing the posting.

People should be intimidated by you because your points are spot on, there is never any crappness (if that is such a word) surrounding it and you can see and understand the logic behind it's meaning. This isn't a comparison between you and Faith but an identification of how you post.

EDIT: One more thing. I object to this board going into meltdown as soon as FAITH posts something that is supposedly true. Why should we hang, draw and quarter our entire clubs employees based on some posts from an anonymous user. Even if FAITH does have some "inside info", please give some benefit of the doubt to it. Its not going to be 100% fact every single time.

I have faith in our negotiating team, and will make an assessment on their performance when we have some more definitive info.

Yes, I didn't realise Reid split his time in the ruck as well for 30% of the game, and was a late convert to footy.... Conveniently forgotten facts with Sydney supporters. This website is in the public domain. If the AFC constantly say its not in the best interest to share its strategy with the public, why is it OK to post every bit of detail that FAITH does? And if the AFC do know about FAITH, why are they allowing him/her to continually post this information?

If the person feeding FAITH this information works for the AFC, they should get a stern talking to.

And maybe, just maybe, everything FAITH posts isn't 110% fact.

You should give FAITH a bit more credit. Surely he can make a call on what's appropriate to share & what's not - personally, I trust his judgement. His track record is pretty good & it's refreshing to have someone posting with some inside knowledge.

Do these Sydney supporter not realize that next year, it will be an entirely new group of players anyway and the premiership squad will be broken up.

Going on about not trading a premiership player because of this perception they will repeat is nothing but a load of garbage. Come next March, all 18 clubs are equal again and with luck, they can repeat but because they have the same 22 premiership player doesn't mean shit.

Not quite sure why people are so hot on Noble just yet. He hasn't done a deal yet and he is still hanging off on the Tippett deal which I would think is the way to go; he may have to play a ballsy hand and wait for someone else to blink.

As for Jenkins, he was actually spotted by Sando who watch him in the reserves game against Geelong where he bagged 6 or 7.

We all need to just hang onto our hats here guys, the more this goes on the more others will come out of the woodwork and as Kurnt sees his Sydney dreams evaporating, he'll jump, shifty pricks like him always do.
