So, really charming young man got to the final. Missed one catagorey but got the rest (a couple for two tokens). Jackpot counter got to the bottom shelf but was riding. Got pushed closish to the edge but was in between zones 2 and 3 (and riding). He TOOK the trade (which Ben was shocked by) first token nailed it but the jackpot didn’t go, teetering. Second missed it completely. Third and final was close but not perfect. Got a lateral on the bottom and got it by millimeters.

It was unreal. Ben lost his mind.

Serves him right- does my bloody head in when they choose zones 2 or 3 for the final round, instead of 1 or 4.



re. ^^if that was the riskiest trade ever- a couple days ago saw the worst refusal of a trade ever. She had a full top shelf, full bottom and the jackpot counter was right on the edge- only needed one counter, not even three. Said no, yep went first counter. ****ing moron.

Yeh that was the one.

That poor woman wanted nothing at all to do with it.
 
So anyway... yesterday saw a surprisingly smart move in the last round by the contestant. Jackpot counter was being a right campaigner- riding on some other counters and going nowhere. Instead ditched his jackpot counter zone, went to another and scored 1k in one single drop, and a few more hundred quid elsewhere too.

I think the distancing was covid then the return to groping is post covid. From 2021. UK relaxed a lot of restrictions before we did.

So many players get tunnel vision in that final round, I'm always annoyed that more players don't do this once it's clear that chasing the Jackpot counter is a lost cause.
