You are right he is not one of the best. He is the best. No other defender can shut down both talls and smalls like he can, no other defender has been able to shut down James Hird like he has. Very few other defenders can do all those things and have such a fantastic kick and attacking game. There is no other defender in the league you would swap him for.

Don't really care whether Shaw has proven himself to everyone yet, he's proven to Collingwood fans that he is a very important part of our side. Licuria hasn't played much as a tagger lately, certainly not this year, but he provides that hardness in the middle for us when he's on form.

With all due respect, Presti was once one of the best defenders in the league. Last 2 seasons or so havnt been his best. Still has small influence when he is in the side, but he is far from an influencial player for your side, imo.

You were r*ped by the umpires today, granted. I think they were inconsistent both ways, but your fowards just lost confidence early on and it cost them through stupid free kicks and hands in the backs. And yes, Robbo should have given away a free-kick, but the replay shows the umpire wasnt in position to see it (he was behind a collingwood player) and so payed the mark although Robbo's hands were on the back.

Don't worry, not all Melbourne supporters are ignorant fools. But seriously, everyone needs to stop bitching. You just lower yourselves down even more.

Last two seasons he has had a lot of injuries. He has however still managed to shut down the best tall forwards in the game which to me means he is still one of the best full backs in the league.
