So now I gotta buy a kayak, a BMX bike, learn how to swim faster… too much inspiration for one week.
My son wants me to build an in ground pool in the back yard so he can swim like Arnie and Kayak like Jess! 🤣

Mrs Chism just wants a Spa at one end and she don’t give 2 ****s! Hmmmm just need someone to pay for it! 🧐

I wonder if those fancy pools that let you swim in place could be used for kayaking?😂

A couple of team wins and our Cyclists beating expectations = almost record tally.

I wonder if it’s all about funding or just a focus on sports we struggled in, but it’d be nice if one Olympics it all clicked.

Our cyclists used to be probably our second best sport behind the swimming. It’d be nice if both men’s and women’s basketball was on song at the same time, same with men and women in the pool.

I always think 15G/50T is a great result at the Olympics for Australia, that’s my benchmark we should be achieving every 4 years
Considering Australia's only ever done that twice (2000 and 2004), that's a pretty high mark to set

He might have stuffed up his 2nd run but he was going out there to entertain. Have a look at the trick he pulled of at 0.15 and then in slow mo from another angle around 1.14

In hindsight, we really struggled at Rio, didn’t we?

It was London that stung.

I spent the week in London during the games and the atmosphere was incredible with an excellent set up. But every single time some Brit heard my accent at the bar they had a smarmy comment for me. It didn't ruin the week for me but god damn they were all out for blood. The open areas with the bars/big screens were almost louder when the Aussies missed out than they were when GB medalled.

Would love to see a non-medal Exhibition 'Best Trick' in the bmx and skateboarding like they have in their other contests around the world. Give everyone a chance to send one ridiculous trick for the fans like Logan got to do on his second run.

A solid top 10 finish around expectations, but here we have delivered - only 4 silvers so far, converted the golds we have left as silver in the past and have been spectacular.

14 or 15 gold was the expectations, which will place us 5th or 6th. Will never beat the big 3 USA, China and Russia and home team Japan (like most home teams) was always going to be top 4 and knockout GBR.
